Registered attendees who signed up for Family Chorus will receive sheet music and learning tracks prior to the event.
Two required rehearsals: Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4 from 7–9 a.m. (EDT).
Performance: Saturday, November 4, following the chorus finals competition. (You will be on the International Webcast!)
Mary is a third-generation barbershopper, the daughter of Michelle Hunget (Zing!, 2010) At the age of 13, Mary joined Kansas City Chorus as a bass and has sung all four parts in choruses. She is the baritone of ClassRing, 2014 Rising Star Quartet Champion and 2019 Sweet Adelines International Champion Quartet. Mary enjoys teaching classes, coaching quartets and choruses, and participating in youth in harmony camps.
Michelle joined Kansas City Chorus in 1986, with whom she has earned a total of seven Top 5 chorus medals. She is the tenor of 2010 International Champion Quartet, Zing! and 2023 Region 5 Championship Quartet, Journey – and the mother of Mary Duncan (2019, ClassRing). She is a past member of the Coronet Club Board of Directors, a Certified Master 600 Chorus Director, and an Approved Candidate Judge in the Visual Communication Category.
